African Youth: Write, Transmit, Dream – The Big Meeting of Afrodescendent Voices in Paris
From March 20 to 22, 2026, the Halle des Blancs-Manteaux hosts the 5th edition of the African Book Fair in Paris, supported by the Île-de-France Region. This unmissable event celebrates African and diasporic literature in all its forms: novels, poetry, essays, comics, youth, and much more.
For three days, the public will be able to meet authors from Africa, Europe and diasporas, attend conferences, debates and readings, and exchange around the theme 2026 : “African Youth” — its creativity, its challenges, its role in transmission and the future of the continent.
This year, Benin is the guest of honor, and Angola, a special guest country, will enrich the cultural dialogue with its vibrant literary voices.
An event open to all to celebrate the vitality of African cultures and the diversity of francophone imaginations.
